John Padilla Obituary
1959 -2022
John Gus Padilla, age 62, passed away January 21st, 2022 of natural causes. John was born in Toledo, OH to Juanita Padilla and Filiberto Padilla.
John was raised in Guadalupe CA attending elementary school, went to Righetti High School and Allan Hancock College. John moved to Los Angeles CA, eventually in 2019 resettling in Santa Maria, CA.
John loved playing the piano, singing, and reading the Bible. He was very compassionate, kind, thoughtful, and a loving person. He liked to laugh finding humor in everything. He loved all his family and his little dog "buddy.
John was preceded in death by his Father Filiberto Padilla, sister Gloria, brother Joey, sister Nela, brother David, and Mother Juanita Padilla. He is survived by sisters Margaret, Sylvia, Ovedina, Andrea, Angie, Esther, and brothers Ruben, and Jesse, also many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service is planned for Thursday February 3rd at the Santa Maria Apostolic Church, 400 N. Mary Dr., at 9:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at the Guadalupe Cemetery.
