I can´t believe it´s been a year. We miss Dr Davis so much. We will never find another doctor as caring with the compassion he had for his patients. He was more like a friend than a doctor. Sending prayers to this family.

Scott was the greatest doctor of my lifetime and I had some great ones. When I met him he was a young guy and I identified with him very much. He was like a best friend. I just found out that Dr. Davis passed. I was also his patient at the old South Bay Hospital. He was the best Doctor I have ever had. He really cared and had a tremendous sense of humor! I was so happy for him when he told me he was returning home to start his own practice. I am so happy to hear he found his soulmate. I always lamented to him my terrible history with trying to do the same. My prayers for his entire family. I will never forget his care and kindness. God rest his soul. He was a special man.

Oh my gosh! I am so devastated at this moment. I was sitting in my doctor's office today and began to think about Dr. Davis for some reason. I decided to look him up and see if he was still in Paso Robles. What a shock!

We had just moved to Redondo Beach about 15 years ago and I decided I needed to look for a doctor. For some reason, he was the doctor I found, and after meeting with him for the first time, I knew I had found the right one. He was so nice and so gentle, caring, and he listened and gave great advice.

I remember when I first heard he was leaving us, I felt really sad because when I find a doctor that I like, I never want to leave or him to leave. Then I found out he was going to Paso Robles, which is in my old stomping grounds. Funny to think he was born the year after I graduated from San Luis Obispo Senior High (SLOSH). I actually told him that maybe I would make appointments with him still, and then come up to visit other friends and still get to see my favorite doctor. He said he wouldn't mind that. I was tempted to do that this summer, just to say hi.

I'm very sorry to hear that he has passed on and left a beautiful wife from what I've heard. Praying for his family and for all those that knew him. He was a great guy and a great doctor who cared so much for his patients. I'm glad I got to be one of those and a friend, too.

I learned of Dr. Davis passing today during my appointment at Providence Family Medical Center in Redondo Beach, CA. Dr Davis was our primary care doctor during his medical career in the South Bay. Our appointments with him were always met with his handsome face smiling. His easiness, welcoming spirit and beautiful personality has never been forgotten by us.
After my last visit and departure, I found Dr. Davis sitting in his office with the door opened. As I walked by, I said "love you doctor", he replied, "love you more". Rest in Eternal Peace, Dr. Scott Davis.

I am deeply saddened by this heartbreaking loss. Dr. Davis was the best primary care physician I´ve ever had. In 2017 he saved my kidney function (stage 5 kidney failure) and thereby significantly altered the course of my life. I respected and trusted him explicitly. Apart from Scott´s medical skills I loved his warmth, wit and great sense of humor. We made each other laugh often. This feels like I´ve lost a guardian, one I thought would watch over my healthcare for the remainder of my journey. Even though I saw him only once a year recently, it also feels like I´ve lost a friend, one I looked forward to seeing at each appointment. RIP Scott. Thank you for genuinely caring. Oh dear this news is heartbreaking. I was only a few years in to Dr. Davis' care but I knew immediately I had scored. I told everyone how excited I was to get such an excellent physician. Dr. Davis (Scott) has been my friend and physician for over a decade since moving to this area, and my wife as well. This is soul crushing for us on a personal level aside from his excellent care as our doctor. I actually looked forward to my doctor appointments (who can say that?)! We spent as much time laughing and catching up as talking about my latest injury. We were actually shh'd by his assistant once for being too loud.
His compassion, attention to detail, and patient advocacy are unmatched in my experience, especially here locally. I called him "old school" as the ultimate compliment and he loved it.
This community is truly "less" without him, and I'm sure that his other patients feel as we do...that he left an enormous void as a friend, doctor, and human being.
May he truly Rest in Peace and my wife and I both hope that his family can find some sort of solace and comfort knowing how widely loved and appreciated he was...
