I know Stephanie from her San Mateo days. We studied German together with Betty Raff at the College of San Mateo. Stephanie organized a study group, we'd meet before our German class. The study group helped me learn German. Stephanie and I kept in touch over the years and visited her once in Santa Maria

I´m sure going to miss Stephanie. She was a delightful and dedicated friend.

Stephanie was a shining light of enthusiasm with a "can-do (anything)" attitude. When it came to plants and planting, she did not just tell you how to do things, she would come over and do it. I will always remember how considerate and helpful she was to my parents in their latter years. The world is a little less bright without her presence.
