Willie Galvan leaves an enduring legacy that reflects his dedication to helping to improve the lives of others. Whether it was students receiving scholarships or helping the underserved get medical or technical support, Willie was at the forefront to make it happen. He was resourceful and focused on how to get things accomplished. Willie´s dedication to supporting Veterans is a huge part of his legacy.
One can only hope that Willie´s efforts and his cause will be carried on. May you rest in Peace, Fellow Tejano.

Our sincerest condolences to Helen, the Galvan family and friends on the passing of our friend Willie Galvan. He was a true friend and advisor for many years. His involvement in the community was well known and appreciated by us all. Willie will be remembered for his many years of leadership within the American GI Forum and other community groups. His accomplishments within the Santa Maria community and beyond were nothing short of exemplary. His gentle sharing manner of administrative skills and organizational management of non-profit groups singled him out. We will all miss Willie, may he rest in everlasting peace.
