Charles Amendt Obituary
Battle Creek
Charles "Chuck" James Amendt, 55, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Bronson Battle Creek. He was born on April 11, 1959, the son of Walter Charles Amendt and Eleanor Ann (Witkowski) Amendt.
Chuck was a 1977 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. He was employed at ASMO Mfg until 2013. He was formerly employed at American Fibrit.
Chuck is survived by his Wife of 24 years: LuWanda Ann (Birman) Amendt of Battle Creek, MI; Daughter: Rebecca (Aaron) Furman of Battle Creek, MI; Grandchildren: Ryan, Ian, Ti and Dustin; Sisters: Carol (Phil) Frances of IN, Susan (Steve) Miles of FL and Dawn Koscal of NV; Brothers: Andy Sabala of CA and John (Kathy) Sabala of TX. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brother: Walt (Luella) Amendt.
Chuck loved music and played the guitar. He played in several area bands. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, camping, his dogs, hanging out with his friends and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday August 15, 2014 after 3 PM where the family will be present 6 PM to 8 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Saturday, August 16, 2014, 10:30 AM.
Interment will take place in the Hicks Cemetery.

LuWanda,I am so glad I got to meet your husband Chuck, he was a good neighbor. I used to see him walking the dog, riding his bike or just walking a lot. He is a good man. You have my deepest sympathy. Remember the all the good memories and that pretty smile he had.
