Ballston SpaClaire E. Weaver, 94, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. She was born on October 24, 1927, in Ballston Spa, NY to Charles and Ethel Nutting.Claire was an EMT and volunteer for over 30 years for the Community Emergency Corp in Ballston Spa. She was also a bus driver for Ballston Spa Central School District for 17 years. After retirement, she drove for Stanski Transportation and Albany Ambulette for several years. Claire delivered meals for Meals on Wheels for 10 years.Claire enjoyed many hobbies; she was a wonderful cook, she enjoyed dancing the Polka and Jitterbug, and loved watching the birds in her backyard. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and lovingly knitted every family member a sweater each Christmas.She was predeceased by her beloved husband Howard C. Weaver, son Gary, her parents, and eight siblings. Claire is survived by her children Kathy Hanley (Donald), and Kevin Weaver (Laurie; daughter in law Patti Weaver; grandchildren James (Joanna), Jason (Christine), Kristy (Channing), Brianna (Jason), Brittney (Clint) and Katie; great grandchildren Hailey, Molly, Travis, Emma, Hutton, Rosalind and Chase; and many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, April 25, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm at Armer Funeral Home Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Funeral services will be held 10am Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the funeral home. Claire will be laid to rest with her husband in Ballston Spa Cemetery.
