Dan will always be remembered for his dry wit, gentle demeanor and his quiet strength. He was a Gentle man who helped many a troubled youth with his ability to listen, counsel and engage. He was a rock in the classroom and someone that all of us could count on to get the job done...no matter how difficult. Dan may be gone but I will always remember Dan as an amazing father, grandfather, co-worker and friend. We are all better for having Dan touch our lives.

I was so very sorry to learn about the passing of Dan. He was an inspiration to the Students and Staff, that he worked with throughout his years of dedication and support, at WSWHE BOCES. His smile and sense of humor always brightened my day and I am confident many others as well. Dan, you touched the lives of so many and will be missed.
