Edward Harder Obituary

Edward B. Harder SARATOGA SPRINGS - Edward B. Harder of Saratoga Springs died peacefully at Saratoga Hospital on June 11th 2017, he was 64 years old. Born on October 17th 1952 in Troy New York, he was the son of the late Edward B. Harder Sr. and Phyllis VanBuskirk Harder. Mr. Harder was a graduate of the class of 1970 at Hoosic Valley High School. From there, he attended and graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Landscape Architecture. He married his wife Sally Cunningham Harder on June 2nd 1974. Mr. Harder worked for Schoder Rivers Associates in Queensbury as a Senior Designer in structural engineering for many years. In his leisure Ed enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hiking and hunting. He loved spending time at his camp in the Adirondack Mountains and was a member of the Red Coat Hunting Club of Harrisburg Lake. He also was an avid reader. He is survived by his wife Sally Harder, two brothers; Gordon (Buck) Harder and his fiancé Fabiola Dayian of Amsterdan, NY and Ken Harder of Nashua, NH, one sister; Miriam Denio and her husband Tom of Evergreen, CO and many nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and an uncle. Family and friends may call from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday June 15th at the Tunison Funeral Home 105 Lake Avenue Saratoga Springs New York. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Miriam, Kenny and Family,

Sorry to hear about Eddie's passing. I have only seen him a few times since the old days in the Valley. It was a great place to grow up in. May Ed rest in peace.
