Ballston SpaFaith A. King 77, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023. She was born in the Bronx, NY on March 5, 1945, the only child of Frank and Florence Palinkas. She was a graduate of Ballston Spa High School, Class of 1963.After a 20 year career working for Anheuser Busch as a supervisor and dispatcher at Williamsburg Transport she retired and worked part time for Saratoga Health and Wellness where she made many new friends and had the chance to engage with new and interesting people.Faith was a dog lover and had two dogs that lived to the age of 16. She was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed watching and going to games. She also enjoyed going out to lunch with friends and spending the day at the casino, harness track, and in August the flat track. For many years she was a member of the Tuesday morning bowling league and bowled a perfect game of 300.Faith was a longtime member of Christ Episcopal Church in Ballston Spa and volunteered at the church food pantry for over 20 years. Faith is survived by her daughter JoAnn Johnson (Todd Mabb), grandsons Samuel Johnson and Jacob Johnson, cousin Ray Palinkas, and special friends Karen Dussault, Connie Alonzo, Mary Nitchman, and Bill and Joann Todd.Funeral services will be held 1pm Monday, January 9 at Christ Episcopal Church, West High Street, Ballston Spa.
