Jeff Francis Manning BALLSTON SPA - Jeff Francis Manning, 57, devoted husband, father, son and brother, died Wednesday, October 29, surrounded by his family. Jeff was born on October 20, 1957, in Verdun, France to Jerald and Wreatha Manning. Jeff graduated from Ballston Spa High School, where he met his high school sweetheart and future wife of 37 years, Mary Ann Manning. Jeff was a hard-working man who took pride in his work. He started his career at Kraft General Foods before working at Universal Packaging. He ended his career proudly as the Deputy Superintendent of Highways, for the town of Milton. Jeff enjoyed restoring old cars and working in his garage, traveling South in his Motor home with his wife and 8 Yorkshire Terriers, and working outside in his backyard. Jeff is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; his two children, Jennifer Christine and Jeffrey Michael; Mother, Wreatha Manning; Brothers and Sisters, Jerald Manning (Carla), Janet Manning (Pete Cahill) and Judy Kelley (Bill); His mother in law, Dorothy Antinore; Brothers and Sister in law, Patty Gabree (Jim), Chuck Antinore (Lynn), and Jim Antinore (Cathy); aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerald Manning, his grandmother, Lillian Rhodes and his father in law, Vincent Antinore. The family has requested a private memorial. In lieu of flowers sent to the family, the family asks that donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. The family would like to give their sincerest thanks to Dr. Romero, the staff at Malta Medical Hematology and Oncology, and the staff at Saratoga Hospital for their compassionate care.
