John Joseph Lyons GREER, SC - John Joseph Lyons, 66, of 605 Henderson Circle, died June 28, 2016 at his home. A native of Galway, NY, son of the late Robert and Mary Clarke Lyons, he was a builder contractor, a member of Shriner International, and St. George Commandery No. 31 of Scotia, NY. Surviving are two daughters, Erika Lyons (Robert Rebusmen) of Latham, NY and Shannon Sitcer, (Richard, III) of Coxsackie, NY; two sons, J.R. Lyons of Hoosick Falls, NY and Nicholas Lyons of Clover, SC; three brothers, Michael Lyons of Cooperstown, NY, Jim Lyons of Greenville, SC and Peter Lyons of Amsterdam, NY; three sisters, Jackie Wohn of Easley, SC, Cheryl Lee of Galway, NY, Debbie Neahr of Galway, NY and Beth Lewis of Woodstock, IL and six grandchildren, Caitlin Sitcer, Richie Sitcer, John Sitcer, Garrett Sitcer, Ryan Alexis Lyons and Avery Lyons. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at home of his sister, Cheryl Lee, 206 Fayville Road, Galway, NY. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W.
