Marilyn Peterson Obituary

Marilyn Rose Peterson, 87, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Wesley Health Care Center. She was born on February 20, 1934 in St Louis Mo. to Ellsworth and Rose (Wortham) Burnette. As a teen, she moved to. Chicago, IL, where she met her husband Charles Peterson.Marilyn was a loving mother and grandmother, and a friend to all. She was easy to laugh and always saw the positive in any situation. She volunteered for years for the Saratoga hospital guild and loved it dearly. She also worked at school #4 as a teacher's aid. She enjoyed reading, taking long walks and playing bridge.Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, her loving sister, Patricia, and her husband, Charles.She is survived by her 4 children, Gary (Cecilia) Peterson, Colchester CT; Laurie (Tim) Braim, Halfmoon NY; Tom (Marcia), Peterson, Phoenix MD; Dan (Julie) Peterson, Ballston Spa NY.Grandchildren; Katie, Andrew, Erik, Christian, Hannah, Adam, Nathan, Jack, Steven, Caroline, Austin, and Joshua. She was also blessed with 9 great-grandchildren.
