Granville, NY- Peter James LaFarr Sr., 79, of Glens Falls, NY passed away on September 4, 2023 at Slate Valley Nursing Home in Granville, NY.Born on October 1, 1943 in Saratoga Springs, NY he was the son of the late, Roland and Violet LaFarr. Peter was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School class of 1961. He worked in the seafood business and was self employed as a wholesale distributor in New England and in the seafood department in local stores. His passion was wheeling and dealing at flea markets up and down the east coast.He is survived by his two sons, Peter J. LaFarr Jr. his wife, Dawn and Stephen LaFarr and his wife, Tammy; his sister, Sandra Galvin; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Ronald and Richard LaFarr.At Peter's request there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home, 628 N.
