Phillip Marshall Obituary

Phillip W. Marshall Sr. Corinth - Phillip W. Marshall Sr. 82, of Corinth, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, November 6, 1929, he was the son of the late Roy and Bessie Marshall. He served in the United States Army and moved to the Ballston Spa area in 1953. Phil was a sales representative for Glen Mohawk Dairy in Fultonville, which became Nedco, then Dairylea, and later H.P. Hood. He retired in 1994. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, golfing and being in the great outdoors. He was an avid Red Sox and Giants fan. Phil was a great story teller and told many jokes too. Phil is survived by his wife Carol Marshall, children, Phillip W. Marshall, Jr (Tammy) of Greenfield, and Jacqueline Haas (Mark) of Port Huron, Michigan, stepchildren, Amy Yacobucci (Greg) of Canajoharie, and Ronnie Bever of Corinth, grandchildren, Lindsay Tyler, Jerrid Marshall, Kaelyn Marshall, Andrew Yacobucci, and Taya Yacobucci, brothers, Robert Marshall of New Jersey and Craig Marshall of Gardner, Maine, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, October 12, from 6-7pm at Armer Funeral Home, Inc 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. A memorial service will follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Radiation and Oncology Department at Saratoga Hospital, 211 Church Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Carol, We are so very sorry for your loss. We can't believe he is gone. Such a wonderul man, with such a fabulous personality. We can't believe that we will never see you together again on the dance floor dancing to "16 candles". We always watching the two you dancing, the love you shared was so evident.
