Phyllis C. Gardinier

Ballston SpaPhyllis C. Gardinier, 83, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. She was born in Brewster, New York on December 18, 1938, to Ivan and Ethel Gardinier.Phyllis was a Home Economics Teacher at Mechanicville City Schools for many years. She loved gardening and was a member of the Day Lily Club. She enjoyed traveling and visited many countries around the world.Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, brother Nicholas Gardinier, and her longtime companion Malcolm Quinn. She is survived by her sister-in-law Bonnie Gardinier, niece Audrey Gardinier, goddaughters Dr Christina Cocozzo-Moore and Anne Carroll, and her lifelong friend Carol Cocozzo.Funeral services will be held 9am Thursday, September 29 at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Phyllis will be laid to rest at the Hale Eddy Cemetery in Sanford, NY.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Phyllis may be made to the Community Hospice of Saratoga or the Alzheimer’s Association.
