Bob hired me for the CETA Monitoring Unit in 1977 and helped my career along the way. He tried to come across as a curmudgeon, but had a heart of gold, an incredible intelligence, the ability to support and develop people, and a wonderful sinister laugh. He will be missed but not forgotten. Our condolences and best to Fran and his family.

Fran and your entire family- sincere sympathy on the loss of your beloved Bob. We are so sorry, can't believe the sad news. Bob was always such a strong presence and seemed invinceable. May his memory always be eternal to everyone who knew him and loved him. Zina & Stefan
