Not a day goes by that I do not miss you and Dad. So grateful that you and my son Mikey are together.
While I wish you all were here I am happy you are whole, healthy and well.
Watch over us, send me signs, I hope I am making you proud. Take care of my son for me, there is an empty spot in my heart.
Until...

Rose, I had the pleasure of getting to know you through your devoted daughter, Teri. As a Service Coordinator I´ve worked with many, many families doing my best to connect them with supports and services to help keep their loved ones at home to the very end and divert them from nursing home placement. I´ve found that it´s not as much the external services a person has, but the love, hard work and determination of their family and/or informal supports that really keeps them home. Rose, you raised an amazing daughter. Teri did everything and more to ensure that all your needs were taken care of. Insurance, benefits, home care, social, comfort, medical and more. I truly have never met a caregiver that was more committed and resolved to keep their loved-one comfortable and safe at home. Teri was often one step ahead of me when it came to getting a question answered or arranging for a service. She often said, "I´m doing everything I can for mom", but she seemed to worry that others may not think so. Your service providers and I told her countless times that no one could ever think otherwise given her boundless love and advocacy for you. Thank you for her. I´m so glad you were able to be with Teri until your passing. Rest in peace. From, Tracy Thurston

I love you, Mom. I am your firstborn, and I find peace in knowing you are now with my firstborn, Michael Cole, forever 34. I know that was a surprise for you. Now you and Dad can forever have coffee with him. I can hear both him and Dad teasing you about how young they are. We have missed you so.
Watch over us, hug my boy and Dad for me. Visit me often, I appreciate the signs, now you know how hard we all tried to get to you, especially Michael, and now Dad finally has his wife. Go in peace.
Your loving daughter,
Donna
