Dani L. Krull, 69 of Emerson, died Friday July 4, 2025 at his home.
He was born on December 24, 1955 in Dixon, the son of Raymond and Gladys (Gors) Krull. He had worked as a truck driver for several years with his last job was driving for Andrew Nelson Trucking in Rock Falls.
Survivors include his daughter Ashley Westmoreland; son, Nathan Krull; sister, Diana Lynn Johnson; brother, Ronnie Krull; half-brothers: Brian Tarbill, Scott (April) Tarbill and Ben Tarbill; 2 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant grandchild.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Monday July 14, 2025 from 12 Noon – 1:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls. A luncheon will follow at the Rock Falls American Legion. Cremation has taken place.

Dang! Dani you will be truly missed, deepest sympathy to his family. Saw this and the first story I told my wife was Dani falling through the ice, he always had the laugh. Lots of great times with him, Beetle and my brother Joe. Rest in Peace Brother.

He was crazy! Lots of fun to be around or talk to. Watched him fall through the ice 4 times in one day at Lock and Dam 13. Coveralls froze solid but he wouldnt leave because he was catching fish! Makes me laugh just thinking about it. He played Santa Claus in our grade school xmas play and knocked down the whole fake chimney coming in! We just talked about that recently and both laughed about it! Rest in Peace my friend.

Always my heart will break each time I loose a piece of my family. I will forever cherish his big hugs that could lift you straight off the ground. No matter how old I got he would always say.. Melinda I will always picture u with pig tails and Aunt Judy telling you not to get dirty..I sure will miss him
