Doris Ann (Clayton) Grimley, born on April 15, 1940, in Compton, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, at the Dixon Rehabilitation Center in Dixon, Illinois. She was 84 years old.
Doris grew up in Compton, and cherished her roots throughout her life. She was a beloved presence to all who knew her, and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Rich Clayton, Mark Clayton, and Mike Clayton; her daughters, Tina Withers, Penny Jo Wittenauer, and Shelley Creel; and her grandchildren, Danielle Grimley, Colton Schwarz, Randi Wittenauer, Zachary McCall, Travis McCall, Shanna Nettz, Dakota Heiman, Taylor Myler, Cory Myler, Tiera Myler, and Chad Myler; and many great-grandchildren. Doris's legacy lives on through the love and memories shared by her family.
