Gwenda L. Hollaway, age 65, of Rock Falls, died Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at her home.
Gwenda was born August 9, 1960 in Huron, S.D., the daughter of Elwin and Vivian (McMillan) Janssen. She was employed at Wahl Clipper in Sterling for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Matthew (Laura Oldenburg) Doyle of Ripey, IA and Blaze Hollaway of Rock Falls; one sister, Christy Janssen of Sterling; one brother, Gale Janssen of Brownstown; four grandchildren, Angel Doyle of Rock Falls, Destinee Doyle of Ripey, IA, Bentley Hollaway of Rock Falls, and Matthew Doyle, Jr. of Ripey, IA; and one great grandchild, Cylus Wolf of Ripey, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
