Jerry Guy Woodhurst, 70, of Erie, IL, died Friday, May 10, 2024 at his home. There are no services. Gibson – Bode Funeral Home, Erie, is handling the cremation arrangements.
Jerry was born January 22, 1954 in Moline, IL, to Guy W. and Charlesa O. (Heather) Woodhurst. He graduated from Annawan High School in 1972. He worked for Trackmasters Inc., installing and maintaining railroad lines. He was blessed to spend 41 years with his wife, Judith F. Murphy.
Jerry loved the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed painting art, fishing and woodworking.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judy Murphy, Erie; sons, Nick (Natalie) Woodhurst, Erie, Jacob Woodhurst, Erie; granddaughter, Piper Woodhurst, Erie; siblings, Lynn (Steve) Brady, Tampico, IL, Barb (Mike) Brady, Tampico, IL, Dave (Connie) Woodhurst, Rock Falls, IL, and Dan Woodhurst, Perry, MO.
