Joyce Mae Cover, 83, of Dixon, died July 23, 2021 at Dixon Rehab.
There will be no funeral or visitation, but a celebration of life will be at a later date and time.
Joyce was born June 13, 1938, to William "Shorty" and Brunell "Lynn" Madden. She married William Cover Sr. on Sept. 5, 1953.
Survivors include two sisters, Pat Schultheis and Helen (Arthur) Schultheis; and five children, Carlene (Donald) Masters, Pamela Marks, Wanda (Kevin) Nicholson, Rhonda (Kevin) Sipple, and William (April) Cover Jr.
She had 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Madden Sr.; her sister Barb Kemp; her husband; and four grandsons.
She loved making Sunday dinners for her family. She was loved by many and will be missed severely. She retired from BorgWarner.
