Kristina Anna Marie Dauen, 67 of Sterling, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.
Tina was born on March 8, 1955 in Scotland, the daughter of Keith and Annie (Colville) Wallingford. She worked at Walden Books at the Northland Mall in Sterling for 25 years. She also worked at Kirlin's Hallmark until their closing and most recently at CGH Main Clinic as a receptionist in cardiology. Tina was a part of the AmeriCorps Foster Grandparent program and read to kids at Merrill School in Rock Falls. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and any kind of crafting, and loved to go to the farmer's market on the weekends.
Survivors include her daughter, Heather (Jeffery) Dauen Green of Sterling; three grandchildren, Markus, Julia, and Carter "CJ"; two brothers, Keith Wallingford and Kolin (Tracey) Wallingford; and one sister, Heather Wallingford.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Karen Wallingford.
Cremation rites have been accorded with the McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Falls. A memorial walk will be held in her honor at a later date. Memorials may be made in her memory to Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.

I´m heartsick to hear of your dear mom´s passing! She was such a sweetie. I worked with her at Kirlin´s for a number of years and she was a joy to work with. She talked and shared frequently of your family . She was so proud of you all. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. God Bless.

I am so, so sorry! Your Mom was truly an Angel! She now has her wings yet as I write that I do not find comfort....yet! She loved you and her grandchildren fiercely! Your wedding day, despite the heat (lolol), she had a smile going on all day long. Prayers to you!
