Born: January 7, 1941 in Amboy, IL
Died: June 12, 2025 in Dixon, IL
Leo Bushman age 84 of Maytown passed away on Thursday June 12, 2025 at Liberty Court in Dixon. He was born on Jan. 7, 1941 in Amboy, IL the son of Leo and Lucille (Morrissey) Bushman. Leo was an Operating Engineer for the Local 150 for 45 years, as well as a life long Farmer. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. Leo married Norma J. Leffelman on Sept. 8, 1962 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maytown. Norma preceded him in death on April 12, 2021. He is also preceded in death by his parents. Leo is survived by his children Lori (Bruce) Setchell of Amboy, Patrick (Elizabeth) Bushman of Dixon, 5 grand daughters Katherine (Andrew) Bulfer, Emily (Thomas) Swenson, Julia (Broc) Sorrells, Maggie (William) Cooper, Gretchen Bushman, 5 great grandchildren Lee, Delaney, Clara, Arthur, and Ruby. He is also survived by his brother Lawrence Bushman, sister Mary (Roger) Kuffel, and his dog Milo. Funeral services will be on Tuesday June 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic church in Amboy. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Maytown. Visitation will be on Tuesday June 17, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy.
