MARILYN J. DOLIESLAGER, 72, of Lyndon, IL, died Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Resthave Home in Morrison, IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial has been established.
Marilyn was born March 25, 1951 in Morrison, IL to Warren and Mary Myrle (Howe) Nice. She attended the Union Grove Elementary School and was a graduate of Morrison High School. On October 13, 2000 she married Brian W. Dolieslager in Morrison. Marilyn worked as a rural mail carrier for the Morrison U.S. Post Office. She enjoyed spending her time boating and fishing with her husband.
Survivors include her husband, Brian; four daughters, Jodi (Mike) Meier of Prophetstown, IL, Kasie (Laramie Wall) Dodd of Iowa City, IA, Shannon Dolieslager of Pearl City, IL and Brianne (Luke) Hoy of Thomson, IL; ten grandchildren, Yvette Catron, Evan Camper, Emma Camper, Kenley Meier, Izzy and Oli Wall, Cameron Dolieslager, Morgan Britton, Riley and Ashlyn Hoy; two great grandchildren, Nora and Ezra Catron; two sisters, Beth Thornburg of Clifton, CO and Melissa (Eric) Arey of Tiffin, IA; one brother, Merle (Nancy) Nice of Sterling, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nancy Stone.
