Marvin D. Blixt, 73 of Rock Falls died Thursday August 21, 2025 at his home.
He was born on March 22, 1952 in Sterling, the son of Marvin R. and Arlene (Shepherd) Blixt. Marvin had worked as a tool & die maker at Raynor Door in Dixon for 21 years. He was a member of the Eagles Club, the Moose and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley. He was a devout Donald Trump supporter.
Survivors include his daughters, Tracy Blixt of Morrison and Stacy (Carl) Hull of Menominee, MI; his sister, Jean Woosley of Rock Falls; and two grandchildren, Josie Adams and Jessa Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his companion Rosa L. Hart; and his brother-in-law, Jack Woosley.
Cremation will take place and future celebration of life will occur. Arrangements entrusted to McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory.

A cherished friend of my father John (Jim) Juarez. Dad talked of him often and couldn't have asked for a better friend. They shared their love of cars and worked on many of motors. After dad passed I spoke to Marvy, as dad called him. He expressed how he missed dad up at Blueberry Hill but he would still drive by the hill. I can see it now Marvy and dad taking a cruise in heaven talking cars. Prayers to his family and friends he will be sorely missed by many.

May God bless you and keep you,Marv,and condolences to the family. Marv was a great friend to me and my brother,Jim. He rebuilt several motors for us and visited him several times in Woodland Shores and his shop. One guy who will be greatly missed.
