ROCK FALLS - Matthew Omar Koehler, 55, of Rock Falls, died on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Dixon Healthcare and Rehab Center.
Matthew was born on June 13, 1969, in Sterling, the son of Donald and Donna (Wagenecht) Koehler. He attended St. Andrew Grade School, and Rock Falls High School. In his younger years, Matthew enjoyed drawing. He loved music and watching baseball.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Koehler; one brother, Mark Koehler; one sister, Karie Koehler, all of Rock Falls; and his nephew, Gregory Willis II (Caiti Lancaster).
Matthew was preceded in death by his father, Donald Koehler; maternal grandmother, Karma Bergstad; paternal grandparents; Omar & Dorothy Koehler; and one uncle, Michael Koehler.
Cremation rites will be accorded. No services will be held at this time.
