Rosalinda L. Rienstra, age 82, of Stillman Valley, died Friday, March 21, 2025 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford.
Rosalinda was born December 28, 1942 in the Philippines. She married Tom Rienstra on June 29, 1969 in Rockford, IL. Rosalinda was employed as a critical care nurse at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, retiring in the early 2000s. She was a member of the Ogle County Health Board, Stillman Valley Lions Club, Sinnissippi Quilters in Rockford, Silliman University Alumni Association, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the Prairie View Women's Golf League.
She is survived by her husband of Stillman Valley; one son, Mark Rienstra of Scottsdale, AZ; and one brother-in-law, Leo (Joan) Rienstra of Polo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Antonio.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon. The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.
