Sally A. Reul, 75 of Sterling died Tuesday January 30, 2024 at OSF St Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.
She was born on November 18, 1948 in Rock Falls the daughter of Harold and Ethel (Manon) Van Horn. She married Keith Reul on December 30, 1983. He died February 19, 2016. Sally had lived for the past 40 years in Mesa, moving back to the area in September 2023. She enjoyed thrift store and estate sale shopping.
Survivors include her son Mark (Wendi) Anderson of Mesa, AZ; step daughters: Carrie (Alicia) Reul of Indianapolis, IN and Tracie (Billy) Walls of Rock Falls; brothers: James Van Horn and Steven Van Horn both of Sterling and Jack (Kathy) Van Horn of Rock Falls; 4 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; one great grandchild and six step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be Saturday February 3, 2024 from 11- 1 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls. The funeral will follow at 1:00 PM with the Reverend Jason Borton officiating.
