Born: March 15, 1949 in Sterling, IL
Died: September 10, 2025 in Dixon, IL
Terry L. Pierce, 76, of Dixon, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at OSF Saint Katharine Medical Center in Dixon. He was a Maintenance Worker for the Illinois Tollway. Previous to that, he worked for 33 years as a Millwright for Northwestern Steel & Wire.
Terry was born on March 15, 1949, in Sterling, IL, the son of Lowell and Victoria (Arduini) Pierce. He graduated from Newman Central Catholic High School. He married Jeannie Bartlett on April 24, 1992. He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. Terry was athletic and loved sports, even coaching baseball, softball, & basketball.
Terry is survived by his wife, Jeannie Pierce; children, Curt (Sue) Pierce, Dawn Adams; grandchildren, Zack Blazer, Samantha Adams, Caden Pierce; and one great-grandson, Waylen Pierce.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Tina Patterson.
A Private Family Burial will take place at Franklin Grove Cemetery in Franklin Grove, IL. A Celebration of Terry's Life will take place at a later date with dates/times pending.
Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society.
Arrangements were completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon.
