Alma Cato Obituary
Born November 19, 1924 in Avera, GA to to the late Esther Mathis and James Clarence Cato. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Albers. She was a graduate of GA Southern University and retired from International Paper. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon.
She is survived by a nephew, James Clarence Albers; and niece, Nancy Albers Shore (Tobin) of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Rincon Cemetery.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Cato family. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Alma when she carpooled to work at Union Camp with my dad, Alvin Mock, and several others. I was attending school in Savannah at the time and was a member of the carpool. She was a dear sweet lady. My mom, Grace Mock, remembers her dearly. They kept in touch on special holidays.
