Archie Thomas Obituary
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Betty Sumner Thomas, daughter Sara Thomas Lindsay, son-in-law Frederick L. Lindsay all from Savannah, GA, brother Julian Thomas of Offerman, GA, and sister Eunice Johns of Tampa, FL.
Surviving are two sons, Archie "Brad" Thomas and his wife Merrilee, of Marietta, GA, Lynn S. Thomas and his wife Michele, of Marietta, GA. Grandchildren, Brandon L. Thomas, and his wife, Gerrie of Marietta, GA, Dr. Lauren Thomas Stewart, and her husband, Donald of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Kelly Thomas of Marietta, GA, Meredith Lindsay of Savannah, GA, Eric Lindsay of Savannah, GA. Great grandchildren Lilah, Norah and Farah Thomas of Marietta, GA, Bain and Charlie Stewart of Atlanta, GA. The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to June's longtime special friend, Joyce Carlson of Savannah, GA, for her years of loving care and companionship.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., prior to the service.
The family suggests any remembrances be made in Archie's memory to: Shriners Hospitals for Children

Sorry to hear of "Country's" passsing. My Dad worked with him and they were friends. Growing up, I remember hearing about "Country". My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this time of sorrow.
