Bobby Gene Stewart

Vidalia - Bobby Gene Stewart, age 65, of 608 Dixie Dr., Vidalia, died Sunday morning, September 21, 2003 in the Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after a sudden illness. Mr. Stewart was a native of Bulloch County, resided most of his life in Bryan County, and lived in Vidalia for the past ten years. He was a Engineering Consultant for Georgia Department of Transportation, a member of Pembroke Masonic Lodge and a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church near Mt. Vernon. Survivors: wife, Phoebe Stewart of Vidalia; three sons, James Stewart of Hardeville, S.C., Darryl Stewart of Richmond, KY., and Jody Stewart of Rincon; one daughter, Joyce Ennis of Pembroke; two stepsons, Bobby Hicks of McDonough and Jimmy Hicks of Jonesboro; four stepdaughters: Rhonda Reese of McDonough, Catherine Cook of Savannah, Leslie Ray of Oak Park, and Jackie Murray of Vidalia; one brother: Billy F. Stewart of Bellville; five grandchildren, 20 step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation: 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The body will be placed in the Church Tuesday at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, September 23, from Ellebelle United Methodist Church with Rev.
