To Chads Family,

Chad was always welcomed in our home. He never came in without a hug or left without a hug. He was so full of life...always that great smile that made you wonder what he was up to. He was always helping. He truly blessed us and we are ritcher for having him in our lives.

Chad called us "Pops" and "Gramma". We have lost a Grandson. Know that we loved him dearly and that we share in your deep loss.

We are shocked and saddened to learn of Chad's passing. We first met Chad when he was maybe 8 years old, I still remember him and Travis running around the neighborhood playing like it was yesterday. I didn't know Chad as a teenager but always have remembered him. He was such a great kid. Pam, Wes, Serena and family our hearts, prayers and thoughts go out to you.

Pam, my heart is breaking for you. I remember when I first met you, Chad and Sarah would hang out together and tolerate us (or not) while we did our thing. He always made me smile no matter how miserable I was. Chad had a very kind and loving heart. You, Wes, Serena and the rest of your family are in our thoughts and our prayers.

TO THE FAMILY OF MR. CHAD E. ERB...

Your son, brother and loved one, will be missed by my sister and I at White Bluff Presbyterian Church. which, during Chad's high school years. Chad was always in attendance for our Sunday School class; the first to come, and the last to leave. On those rare Sunday's that I arrived early, there was Chad; a fruit drink and a couple of donuts in hand; proudly pronouncing; "Good morning, Mr. Haworth; do ya need some coffee???!!! How, that made my morning, not to mention my whole day, to see him and ask him about how was school going!! Both, my sister, Nancy and I, were both school-teachers, thus, it was natural!!What a great kid!!! We were soooo proud of him!!

Serena, Pam and Wes...

While none of us can understand why things happen or know the grief and loss you are going through, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you through it all.

We can't believe it's been four years since we left Savannah and saw you, but we have wonderful memories of Chad and Serena -- from Orange Tigers through White Bluff Youth activities and more. Chad was a loving and special person, and I know our lives were enriched from having known him.

May God's wonderful Spirit -- the Spirit from whose presence we can NEVER be separted -- uphold you, comfort you, and strengthen you in these days and in the months and years to come.

I first met Chad as a pre-teen while visiting Pam. I have photos of him playing with my baby girl (now 8 years old). I barely knew Chad as an adult. I saw him last year in passing at AASU. I was stunned at how tall and handsome he had become. It was wonderful to see Pam and Wes so proud of Chad. It was a pleasure to see him again. What a shock to hear of his passing. My love and sympathy to the family that has lost such loving youthful energy. I will cherish the photos even more. Much Much Love.
