Curtis Brown Obituary

Mr. Curtis Brown, 48, died Monday, August 16, 2004 at Memorial Health UMC. He was a native of Savannah, GA. He attended the public schools of Chatham County and was a 1975 graduate of Richard Arnold High School. He was employed by Culver Rug Company. Survivors are daughters, Sherika George and Raven George of Savannah, GA; mother, Mrs. Willie Mae Brown of Savannah, GA; brothers, Robert Henry Brown (Virgilyn) and Steven Brown both of Savannah, GA; sisters, Betty Smith (Tyrone), Doris Bias, Sheila Myers, Thomasina Bragg (John), Jackie Singleton (Joseph), and Mary Louise Brown all of Savannah, GA, Sarah Simmons of NJ, Cynthia Simmons of New York City, and Robin Cooper of Waycross, GA, a loving companion, Ingrid L. McFadden of Savannah, GA; two grandchildren, Janauttica George and James Putney of Savannah, GA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2004 in the Chapel Rev. Thomasina Bragg, officia ting. Interment: East Savannah Cemetery. Williams and Williams Funeral Home 1012 E. we would like to extend our deepest simpathy in the lost of your love one ( curtis ). sarah and I both was raised up in east savannah, curtis and I played basket ball together on the east savannah park in our youth, we just want the family to know that god never make mistakes , In the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1 says: to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. so may god bless each and every one of you, be strong in the lord and he will see you through.
