Hey Linda. I just happened to come accross Danny's obituary. I was totally shocked and saddened. Danny was one of the sweetest men. Always had a smile on his face and always a kind word to say. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Danny was a kind and giving neighbor as is his wife(Linda) and his 4 daughters. They are all my good friends. I was happy to call Danny my brother. He will be missed in the neighborhood and the river.

To Uncle Danny - Congratulations on your graduation to Heaven! You made it! Praise God that you learned, heeded the teachings of the Word and had a trusting relationship with Jesus Christ. Now you will reap your eternal rewards! To Aunt Linda - The last time I saw you, I viewed you and Danny from Dell & Bubba's dining room window as you held hands looking at each other smiling like a teenage couple in love-still after all these years- as you were walking to the dock. You did not see me, but I saw you. Thank you for your steadfast love for each other during all your trials and your shared love for Christ and your servant hood attitude to helping others through hours of volunteer in the ministry. To cousins Jill/Kelly/Kim/Stacy - remember all the teachings that Cecil Hodges and his staff shared with us as children through the Word of God and the ministry of Bible Baptist. May God fill your hearts with everlasting peace. I Peter 1:24 says "For All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever". We were very fortunate to have parents that cared deeply to make the financial sacrifice and give us a "God education" early in our lives. We have been blessed indeed!!
