My Lil Tater, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was a great friend, mentor and family to me. He and Penny took me in when you were just a little thing and your Daddy was so proud to have you as his son. I have been gone from the area for sometime now, but I ran into you and you and your Dad at the mall and cried because my little tater grew up, ran into your dad at Blackcreek's gas station and as always his bright eyes and smile was all I could see. He was a great man. He wanted the best for you and he wanted for you to be a better man than he. I miss you tater, work hard and make yourself proud and the rest will follow. Words can not express how sad we are about the loss of Danny. Deedra, Michael and I know the overwhelming loss of losing your father at a young age and Shaun our heart just breaks for you. The day our daddy died was such a whirlwind, but of all the people that were there that day, your daddy always pops in my mind first. Someone later told me he was one of the first people to get there. Danny was a wonderful person with a kind heart, always willing to help you no matter what. We are all thankful that we have been able to be such close friends and neighbors all of these years. Your daddy is greatly missed. Our prayers are with all of you.

In life there are few people in my memory for whom I can say that I had total respect. Danny was one of those people. He was helpful, respectful, kind and totally unselfish with a quiet sense of humor. The news of his untimely passing is a shock to all who knew him. Mrs. Marian, Shaun & Angel, Patti, and Tania; there are no words to describe how Johnny and I are feeling. Danny was a true friend to us and his passing has left us with a huge hole in our hearts. The only consolation for his loss is to know that he is in a better place and is at peace. We will miss, but will never forget his smile, his jokes, his great sense of humor and the way he loved to pick on Johnny..He will surely keep the angels in laughter.. Danny and I were partners at Medstar for a many years. We spent countless hours talking about our family, particularly our sons and the hopes and dreams we had for them. It is difficult for a son to go with out his Father and tragic for a Mother to have to bury her son. I pray that God will lift and carry you through this difficult time and set you down with perfect peace and strength.

Danny was a wonderful person. He never met a stranger and always made you laugh. He was definitely one of a kind. I had a lot of good times with Danny throughout high school. Danny will live on through Shaun. He will be missed by a lot of people. He touched the lives of so many because of his outgoing personality and a lot of lives were saved because of his committment when he an EMT. I always told Danny that if I had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital he had better be on board with me. I actually held him to that a few years back. Of course, as soon as he came to pick me up he yelled, "Possum (my nickname he gave me in high school), what is wrong with you?" To this day I don't know how I got the nickname of Possum.

Life passes way to quickly. Danny never failed to make me laugh. Even back in school he had the most off the wall sayings. You never quite knew what he would say next. It got even better as we grew older. His eyes laughed! He was such a genuine and warm person. Danny- You will be missed! Smile down at us from Heaven.

My family knew the Page family for years. I didn't really know Danny until I started on EMS years ago. I enjoyed his sense of humor and the Dannyisms he had for every occasion.
