My prayers and thoughts are with the families and friends of David and Ann. They were absolutely amazing and loving in everything they did. I'm so grateful I knew them as friends, as they made the world a better place. The love they had for each other and for the people they came in contact with is inspirational and I will keep that forever in my heart.Thank you David and Ann for watching over us now!

I think of my two friends on a daily basis. I keep their picture by my sewing machine in my shop and one in the kitchen. I hope that I can live life to the utmost, love and have friends like David and Ann. I miss them terribly but when I think of them it brings a smile to face and makes my heart happy!

It seems I can't sleep tonight because I am missing my dearest friends. This is not unusual, however, when I'm not busy with work I often think about my chosen sister, Queen Ann, and her most ardent admirer, King David. I hope to see these Heavenly angels again one day as I miss them so... Sweet dreams (NeeSee)

To David and Ann's family - I, and many others, grieve with you in the tragic loss of your parents. It was always such a pleasure to do business with both of them. I feel honored to have known them. They will be sorely missed by everyone who knew them. May God comfort you during this most difficult time. God Bless You.

Crossing the Bar
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.

It is difficult to tell you how deeply I feel about David and Ann's untimely death. I first met David many years ago as a faithful blood donor and then after working with him it quickly became a warm friendship. It was a privilege to work with him as the Vidalia Community Blood Service Chairman. I will never forget his kindness, spirit and enthusisam as he always had time to help someone. My last conversation with David was to tell him how much I admired him and appreciated his dedication to the blood program and of course he quickly reversed the praise. He will be one of the five people in my life that just knowing him made you want to strive to be a better person. On behalf of the American Red Cross Blood Services, we offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family. May your memories be a source of comfort. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
