Ed,
Even though I haven't been in touch with you or Aunt Dot in many years, I just wanted you to know that I'm so sorry for your loss. She was such a wonderful, kind person and an awesome cook. She is probably making one of her delicious caramel cakes right now!! I will always have fond memories of my visits to your home on Garrard Ave. and every once in a while when we got together in Millen many years ago. God bless you.

Dot Paul loved me and I loved Dot Paul. I met her and Ed when I was in High School. They both welcomed me into their home and fed me many wonderful meals. I am looking forward to seeing Dot in Heaven. She was always so kind to me and I will always cherish her love towards me and her kind, gentle words. I have so many fond wonderful memories of her. I miss her so much.

Ed,

I have been thinking about Dot a lot lately, I even inquired of her whereabouts from someone who knew her, but they did not know where she was. I worked with Dot at GA Regional Hospital in 1974. I was only 24 and I guess Dot would have been about 53, we shared an office together and as I was born in Millen GA, we became friends. Lately, even as recent as yesterday, I was thinking about her. Dot was such a lady and a wonderful cook. She shared many recipes with me and today I still use a silver tray that was given to me by the staff when I left, and I know that Dot picked it out. I owe my interest in silver and crystal, and cookbooks to her. I am so sorry I did not get in touch with her to tell her all this. She was one fine lady.

Ed, Betty and I send our most heartfelt prayers and support in Dot's passing. In greatly missing her, we are also so happy she is without suffering now at Our Lord's side in comfort and praise. You and Ms Dot are our own prayers answered for being our precious neighbor, but mostly, very cherished friends in Christ. We will be with you in all things henceforth; and keep you close as you have for us. May God bless you.
