I was just visiting Kathy a month ago and we shared some memories of you. I won't ever forget how you allowed me more than once years back to bring my girl Scout troop to your house in Savannah to help us save on hotel expenses and the girls just loved you. You are very missed!

I sit here and have a smile on my face as I remember Fran. He was such a good man and always so much fun to be around. He was a wonderful father as well as a good husband. His family always came first. He was very hospitable whenever I traveled from NC to Ga. to visit and VERY HOSPITABLE when I would call and ask if he would allow my Girl Scout troop to pitch tents in his yard! I can honestly say that some of those girls still remember the trips to Fran's house and how they helped celebrate his birthday once. Everyone should have a little Fran in them, and this world would be a marvelous place. I don't think we could ever forget Fran,

I just loved this guy. He kept me laughing and was very hospitable whenever I made a visit to his home. He will always be remembered.

Dear Kathy and children:

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your wonderful husband and father. Cam made an impact on my life like no other person has. I remember, with laughter, being on his bowling team, his teaching me how to use the "mouse", and his jovial personality. But, more than anything, I will never forget his inspirational "chat"s after he went to Houston. He truly displayed God's teachings to "love one another". He was, and will be, one of the greatest people to impact my life and I can say that he was one of the "greatest blessings" that God has allowed me in my life. I will truly miss him, but I know that we will see him again when we reach our final home. My prayers are with you and the children.

Kathy, Deepest, deepest condolences to you and the kids. Fran was and always will be a very special guy who could keep me laughing for hours. He was great to allow me to keep his house full of Girl Scouts while we pitched our tents in your backyard so these girls could visit the National G.S. center in Savannah. These girls now adults still ask about Fran when I should run into them. I am grateful to have Fran as my friend and know you are truly in my prayers. Judy

I only had the pleasure of working with Cam for a year but he left an indelible impression on me. He was one of my son's teachers and Jeff thought the world of him.

We all remember his sense of humor and his dedication to teaching. Even after he left Coastal, we recalled him fondly.

Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Fondly,

Dear Kathy and children,

We have just read the news of Fran's passing and we were unbelievably shocked! What an incredibly wonderful and caring person he was and such a joy to be around. He was certainly a walking example to anyone who may have crossed his path in life. Although we lost touch when you moved you were often in our thoughts, in fact I recently tried to look you up in the phonebook, called the number listed and and was told that this was no longer your number. I suppose I could in some way feel that you were all going through something, I just had no idea. Dale, Chris, Osjha, and I just want you to know that you are in our prayers and if there is ANYTHING that we can do to help you in your terrible loss, we are just a phone call away! We would love to hear from you. Take care and may God bless and comfort you and your family in the days ahead. Sincerely, Dale, Angie, Chris and Osjha Anderson

Kathy,

Cam was such a wonderful friend and teacher. He didn't quit teaching even when I had to take a computer course at Wilder and he had to teach me! I had to promise not to take another course with him in order to pass!! Thanks to Cam I have computerized Lesson Plans.

We will all miss his humor (no one could tell a joke like "our" Cam), laugh, a story-behind-every-tie, and most of all, his big heart. We were all so fortunate to have had him in our lives.

May G-d bless you and your family.

Fondly,

Nancy

To Mr. Cam's Family,

I was an exploratory teacher with Cam at Eagle's Landing Middle School. I enjoyed talking with him about being in the military as it was an experience that we shared. When I decided to switch from teaching drama to 6th grade language arts, I asked his advice. After I disregarded his advice and made the change anyway, I always went to Cam when I felt overwhelmed with teaching an academic subject. We always laughed and I always said, "You told me so."

He was always in a good mood, even when it seemed he wasn't feeling his best. I'm sure there is a huge contract reserved for him up there at the school in heaven.

You have my deepest sympathy.

With love,

Kathy and family,

I am truly sorry for your loss. All of us that had the privilege of working with Cam will truly miss him. I not only had the pleasure of our days at Coastal but at Wilder also. I can remember the many mornings of hall duty and all the jokes he used to tell. The days at the bowling alley were quite memorable also. He was truly an inspiration to those around him.

Mrs. Cam,

I am a teacher at Coastal Middle School and was saddened by the news of Cam's passing. I can remember his vibrant passion for learning and his desire to instill that same passion in his students. I also remember him with his head out the window or door trying to pick up a signal on his cell phone. He will truly be missed.

May God continue to be your source of strength during this time of sorrow.

Mrs. 'C' & kids,

I am very sorry about your lost. Please know that it is my lost also, for your husband/father was a true inspiration as well as friend to me. I have known him since our days at Hubert, and still have software developed by him to be used in the classroom. I still remember our dinner double date(smile), as well as pool party in your yard in Savannah! My prayers are with you all, and remember I am just a telephone call away(912-236-2998). I hope the love Cam showed to others will come back to you during your time of bereavement. Love ya!

Mr. Cam's family,

I am part of Coastal Middle school faculty and family. We always considered Cam part of Coastal's family, even after he moved. We have kept up with him over the years and have enjoyed the conversations we have had when anyone heard any news. We loved to think back on all of the good times we all had together. I am very sad to hear about his passing. He was such a light to all of us. I imagine that even with the past difficult years concerning his health, he still kept a sense of humor of hope. I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with such a lovely human being. All of you are in my prayers. God Bless you.

Kathy and Family:

How unspeakably sad that you have lost Frank! Although we have lost touch over the last several years, I did think of you often. Frank was a great guy and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Robbie, Kylie, Butch and I all send our condolences.

Kathy,

Thought of you and your children all day after I read about Fran in the paper. He was still talked about and there are still computers that bear his trademark around Coastal and in the district. When he left Savannah, he left a legacy of learning and plenty of computer relics that tricked kids into learning. He has been missed and now knowing that he is truly gone is extremely sad. I do hope that hearing from others whom he touched with his humor and his enthusiasm will be of some comfort........I can still hear him get excited about being able to order computer parts without having to sell M&Ms! He was a real educational treasure and a true inspiraton to many. Love and prayers, Jean
