I have finally come to realize this is not a dream. I was introduced to Gary, 11/12 yrs ago by his nephew and Sister n law Penny. Gary always had a smile on his face and was always in a happy mood. I have never seen him angry or upset. He was an Awesome father,son,brother,'Uncle' (to me), cousin, brother n law and best friend. Always a big smile on his face and a happy attitude. Gary was always such a positive person. I had not seen Gary in years, in Dec 2010, we had lunch with Melissa in Tybee. It was like old times. I will always love my Hammock family. You will be missed. Xo

Gary and I were very close back in the day and the thing I remember most was that warm and genuine smile. It pains my heart that we haven't spoken in years as I always considered him such a close friend. You will be missed my friend.

Our prayers and deepest sympathies are with his family. Paul, we have grown to love you and your family over the last couple of years. We thought so much of Gary as our neighbor. He always had a smile on his face even as our dogs were barking their little heads off while we tried to talk. We will continue to be here for you all and Monica and keep you in our prayers.

We are greatly missing our neighbor and friend, Gary Hammock. He was always willing to help anyone and did so with a smile. We will miss seeing him out cleaning his surfboards. Our prayers will be with the friends and family left behind.

We have lived next to Gary for the past two years and really gotten to know him well. He was great guy and we still ride by his house everyday hoping to see him outside with his surfboards or tending to his landscaping. He will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear about Gary, I just talked to him on Thursday afternoon. We got to know Gary over the years servicing our HP equipment. A very personable and all around great guy and would go the extra mile to help his HP clients. He will be missed.
