Gary and I were housemates while attending Auburn University. Lol, I think we were the only two long hairs in Auburn back in the early 70's. We had a blast jamming on guitar and watching soap operas during lunch break between classes. I remember helping him learn German for one of his course classes and shopping at the grocery store speaking German - got lots of weird looks. Gary was one hell of a guy and he'll be missed by many.

Mom and I were very sad to hear about Gary's passing. Our sympathy goes to Pam, Carol, Craig and their families. Gary always seemed so dashing and mature when I was an awkward, freckled kid. Now it seems he was so young.

Gary was one of the first attorneys I met when working as an Asst. D.A. He was always a pleasure to deal with, one of the nicest persons I have ever met. He was a good man and a credit to the profession. I am saddened to see him go, but rest secure in the knowledge of where he is today: Res ipsa loquitur.
