The family of Gerald "Jerry" Sheffy Fields, 91, husband of Elmyra Roberta "Bobby" Sempsrott Fields, will receive friends from 12 to 1 Saturday at Gamble Funeral Service – 410 Stephenson Avenue with the service at 1 in the chapel. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery. www.gamblefuneralservice.com.

Jerry was one of our best friends! We met Jerry and Bobby when we joined the senior bowling league. We immediately became friends and they always made us feel like family. Due to the corona virus and the fact that we have 3 little grandchildren, we werent able to attend the services, but we just want to say that we loved Jerry and still love Bobby dearly. They were always loving and caring beyond measure. You all had a wonderful father and grandfather and still have the best mom and grandmother ever . We pray that God will continue to bless and take care of you all. With love,
