Hub and Family,

So sorry to just find out about Mr. Herbert. Our area has lost a wonderful citizen and leader. We are unfortunately losing a generation of men and women who are the backbone of our country and truly part of the "Greatest Generation."
I have taken a great deal of comfort in my parents loss over the years with recognizing the wonderful memories and the fact that they were closeby during most of my adult life and our children were able to have grandparents closeby. So many do not have the opportunity to live near their parents.
Please give our condolences to Ms. Daniel and everyone in the family.

Dear Carole & Mrs. Cecile, How sad I was to hear about Mr. Herbert last night. My heart goes out to you and your loved ones. I won't ever forget that Mr. Herbert & Mrs. Cecile were the first ones to come to my Grannie Smith's home when my Grandpa (Hoke) was suddenly killed in an automobile accident. You were always so gracious and thoughtful towards those in your community. Mr. Herbert has certainly left a legacy to follow and remember by all of us. Please take care and remember you are in our thoughts and prayers...

Cecile and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss. Herbert is now home with our Father. From the day that I first met Herbert at Bay Branch, I was impressed by his genuine interest, reception and kindness. From that time, everytime I saw him, he called my name and greeted me very warmly. Avis always expressed that Herbert was a favorite Bay Branch relative. She remembers Herbert and you, Cecile, always being there for our DeLoach family.
