Herbert Tolbert Obituary

Mr. Herbert Tolbert 1924-2007 - SAVANNAH - Mr. Herbert Tolbert, 82, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at his residence. He was a native of Dale, SC and was educated in Beaufort and Chatham Counties. He served in the Unites States Army and was a WWII Veteran. He retired from Kirkland Construction after 30 years of service. Mr. Tolbert was a member of St. Paul CME Church. His is survived by his wife: Lottie Tolbert of Savannah, GA, a daughter; Geraldine (Victor) Cooper of Atlanta, GA, two grandchildren; Dena Cooper, Dexter (Robin) Cooper, all of Atlanta, GA, his mother; Victoria Dunbar, one brother; Moses Tolbert, both of Savannah, GA, two sisters; Dorothy Solomon of Roxbury, MA, and Frieda James of Savannah, GA, one brother -in-law; Leon (Betty) Wilson, Chicago, IL, two sisters -in-law; Amy (Ralph) Thompson of Newman, GA, and Ophelia Miller of Griffin, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
