To Sister Wilson and family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God's peace will give all of you the strength you need as you go through these difficult days. I reflect on the last few times I saw Sargent Wilson and the smile or the humorous comments he always offered me. May you all reflect on those memories of a loving husband, dad, grandad, and family member. I regret that I have not visited with the family. I will come by when I am in town. Love and peace to all. To the Wilson Family:
You have my deepest sympathy. Asking God to give each of you the strength that you need to get through this new challenge and just lean on the Almighty to carry you through and take one day at a time.
We all loved Sgt. Wilson. I knew him as a little girl growing up in Bethel AME church. He was our role model and mentor. The last time I saw him, he told me that he had some pictures of all of us about 45 years ago and we laughed because I could only imagine how we looked that long ago. Just had nothing but good memories of him and his wife and whole family. Those were the good old days...

To the immediate family please know that your loss is shared by the extended family and all who knew Uncle Wilson. His humor, levity and bright personality will be missed by all who knew him.

As a Christian minister and one who believed in the teachings of Christ, I'm sure there will be a place for him in heaven.

My sincerest condolences go to you and I will keep you in my prayers.
