James Long - MT. PLEASANT, GA - JAMES Long, 75, died Monday, December 1, 2008. The Appling Co., GA, native had lived most of his life in Wayne Co., GA, he attended the Jesup Church of God, was a retired Foreman with HVAC Civil Service of Ft. Stewart, GA, owner of James Long Refrigeration, and loved his family and work. Survivors: wife of 27 years: Linda Dubberly Long of Mt. Pleasant, GA, a daughter and son-in-law: Sheila and Tony Gordon of Jesup, GA, a son and daughter-in-law: James Gregory and Sheila Ann Long of Jesup, GA, threebrothers: Freddie Long, J. T. Long, and Edward Long, all of Bradenton, FL, two sisters: Mary Brooker of Bradenton, FL, and Ruby Burden of Apopka, FL, five grandchildren: Ashley Chaney and Toni Lynn Gordon, both of Statesboro, GA, Amber Nicole Gordon, Haley and Husband: Scott Walling, and Christina Long, all of Jesup, GA, two great-grandchildren: Anistyn Walling and Blake Massey. Visitation: 6 to 8 P. M. Tuesday from the funeral home. Funeral Services: 2 P. M. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, from the Jesup Church of God. Burial: Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
