Janet Lynn Daley

On Sunday morning, November 12, 2017, our precious angel was called home to be with her Heavenly Father. Janet Lynn Daley was a loving daughter to Darrell and Carolyn Daley. She was a wonderful, loving, sister to her brother, Bobby Daley, and his wife, Allison. She was a loving aunt to two very precious nieces, Katie Grace Daley and Laura Beth Daley. She also left the love of her life, Travis Dawn, and his two precious children, Kimmy Dawn and Cooper Dawn. She was the niece of Sara Smith, and the late Robert Smith, and Martha Daley, and the late Jarrell Daley, and she had 7 cousins. She was a member of South Newington Baptist Church and with hard work, had earned her PhD. She was loved by her students and fellow staff members at Godley Station K-8 School where she was a counselor. She devoted her life to her family, her students, and work. She always walked in her room with a beautiful smile and a kind word of encouragement. The visitation will be on Tuesday from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. The funeral will be on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Payne's Chapel Cemetery near Millen.
