I got to know Jeffery in the early-mid 70s at the Kicklighter Center on Eisenhower Drive, where I helped in his classroom there.
He was about 10 years old then and a bundle of energy, with a huge smile on his face, and light in his eyes. And Jeffery always tried so hard to complete any task put before him.
He and his 2 partners, Buster and Charlie, were inseparable. You never saw one without the other. They were like the Three Musketeers, always around each other, whether it was to play or work.
One of my fondest memories was a field trip we took to Lake Mayer. After spending time with the ducks, Mr. Bruner met us there and brought some of his famous fried chicken from his Krispy Chic restaurant. What treat that was to end a great day together.

Little Jeffrey was a beautiful child whom I met when Ginny and Clyde first married. I lived on the same street as Ginny, and I worked for Clyde's Krispy Chic near Whitfield Ave. Time goes by and I moved away, married Army and settled in Florida. Ginny was a very good teen friend of mine and her new family with Clyde was most beautiful. God Bless--you were great parents.

On my first day working at the CARC on Eisenhower in September, 1972, I met the three Musketeers - Jeffrey, Buster, and Charlie. While they were all a lot of fun to be with, I learned so much about the joy of life from them. I remember working in the classroom with them, counting, learning shapes and colors, the field trips we took and Jeffrey's joy in seeing his dad pull up with snacks of Krispy Chic chicken. Being with Jeffrey, Buster, and Charlie was truly a blessing.

Dear Clyde, Ginny, and family,
John Robert and I are so sorry for the loss of your precious Jeffery. As you know, we lost a precious son many years ago, but he is never far from our thoughts. Time really is a great healer (a lot of time), but the very best, most comforting thing is the hope and belief that we will be reunited with our children when we get to heaven, never to be separated from them again. All of you are in our prayers. God Bless You.

Jeffery and Glen were special gifts from God. I did not have the privilege of meeting these two but I knew them thru their Mother, Marjorie. Jeffery is absent from this earth, he has gone to his heavenly home to be with God.
Angels were waiting for Jeffery and I'm sure he made them smile. Hold on to your sweet memories of Jeffery.

Dear Jeff,
I know God put you and Glen on this earth to spread your joy to others. Whether you two were seeing friends or meeting someone for the first time, you always smiled and gave us a big hug. I didn't even mind getting fussed at when I gave you a pudding, from the dessert case, in one of your dad's Krispy Chics. You didn't even have to PAY for it! Your smile was payment enough. I think you really liked the french fries the best. You always were one to lighten up our day, even when it was a rotten one for us. I know I can take this to the bank. You and God are together in heaven hugging each other. I'll see you later Jeff. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear of Jeffrey's death. Margie, Clyde, Keith, Glen, and Ginny, please know that I will be thinking of you all during this time of sorrow. At least take comfort in knowing that he can now run up and down those streets of gold with all those we loved who have gone on before. I love all of you.

This very special person will be greatly missed. He touched the lives of so many and always promised "I be good". There is a special place in heaven for Jeffrey where he will be pain free and happy.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this sad time.
