Josie Wright Obituary

Mrs. Josie Bell Wright - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Josie Bell Wright entered into eternal rest on Tuesday April 5, 2011 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was a native of Clyo, GA and lived in Savannah many years. She was a former member of First Ebenezer Baptist Church and for the last 46 years she has been a member of Savannah Deliverance Center, where she served as Deliverance Member Rescue Worker Organization. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Wright; sons, Harry Wright and Richard Wright; daughter, Mary Lee Robertson; and grandchildren, Veronica Jennings and Lanita M. Harrell. Survivors: daughter, Betty Wright of Savannah, GA; son, Wilson (Hyron Tak) Wright of Springfield, VA; sister, Dorothy Marsh of Savannah, GA; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. I am the great aunt of the William's children ... and had the pleasure to see Josie on different occasions when I visited my family in Savannah.Josie was a very sweet lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
